1. Essential local browser data
303box uses first-party local storage for functional preferences such as language, pattern/rhythm state, MIDI routing choices, interface settings and consent choices. This data stays in your browser unless you clear site data. These functional values are not used to build an advertising profile.
2. Consent before optional storage
Analytics and advertising storage start in a denied state. On first visit, the privacy controls let you reject optional storage, enable Analytics, enable non-personalized advertising storage, or choose both. Your choice is stored locally and can be reopened from Cookie settings in the footer.
3. Google Analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only when you enable Analytics in the site privacy choices. It may then process page views, interaction events, technical/browser information and approximate location derived from network information for usage and performance measurement.
4. Google AdSense
AdSense is loaded only when you enable Advertising. The site-side chooser requests non-personalized ads and keeps ad personalization and ad-user-data consent signals denied. Non-personalized ads can still use storage for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated ad reporting where permitted.
5. Personalized ads and certified CMPs
303box’s own chooser does not enable personalized advertising. If personalized AdSense is enabled in the future for visitors in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the publisher must configure a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB TCF through the relevant AdSense privacy controls. A custom banner by itself should not be treated as that certification.
6. Search Console
The Google Search Console verification value in the page metadata proves site ownership to Google. That verification meta element itself is not an analytics or advertising script and does not create a 303box tracking cookie.
7. Web MIDI and audio input
MIDI or audio-input permission is requested only after you activate the relevant feature. Browser permissions control access. MIDI output can send notes, clock, transport and device-specific messages to hardware; optional scope audio input is processed locally in the browser for visualization.
8. External links
Instagram, YouTube and other external hardware/documentation links are governed by those third parties after you open them. 303box does not control their cookies, accounts or privacy practices.
9. Global Privacy Control
If the browser exposes a Global Privacy Control signal, the 303box privacy chooser keeps advertising storage disabled. Analytics remains a separate choice.
10. Change or withdraw your choice
- Open Cookie settings in the footer at any time.
- Reject or disable Analytics and/or Advertising. When a previously granted category is revoked, the page reloads so the corresponding optional script is no longer loaded.
- Clear 303box local data from your browser’s site-data controls.
- Revoke MIDI or microphone/audio permission from browser permissions.
11. Scope and legal note
The privacy controls are designed to make optional Google storage prior-consent based and reversible. Privacy, advertising and cookie obligations can vary by visitor location, configuration and future product changes; the site operator remains responsible for maintaining the AdSense/CMP configuration and policy text when those conditions change.
